The estate was bequeathed to Charlotte von Preussen in 1850 as a gift for her wedding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Carlotta series is therefore inspired by the idea and vision of her persona and is intended to convey a sense of femininity, elegance, independence and freedom and to show a modern yet timeless image of a woman as she might live on Lake Como today.<\/p>\n<p>The Carlotta skirt creates a moving volume in the lower section through its long and heavy fall.
